The Mezan Charity Foundation has completed a life-changing project in the Khala area of Zabul Province, providing clean drinking water to people in need. This initiative, which involved the construction of a deep well, installation of 38 solar panels, and two large storage tanks, now benefits nearly 70 families. Through this effort, hundreds of individuals have gained access to safe, clean drinking water.

For years, the residents of Khala faced the severe challenge of water scarcity. Families often had to walk long distances to fetch water from unreliable sources, risking their health and safety. The lack of clean water not only endangered lives but also hindered the community’s overall well-being. This project marks a significant step toward addressing these issues and restoring dignity to the lives of the affected families.
The solar-powered water system ensures sustainability and reliability. The deep well provides a consistent water source, while the solar panels reduce dependency on costly and environmentally harmful energy sources. The two large storage tanks ensure water availability even during peak usage, meeting the daily needs of the community efficiently.

This project was made possible through the generous contributions of our donors, who share our vision of creating meaningful change in underserved areas. Their support has helped us bring a critical resource to those who need it most, proving that together we can tackle even the most pressing challenges.
Clean water is not just a basic necessity—it is a foundation for health, education, and economic growth. With access to clean water, children can attend school regularly, families can maintain better hygiene, and communities can thrive without the constant burden of waterborne illnesses.

The Mezan Charity Foundation is committed to expanding such impactful projects across Afghanistan. With your continued support, we can reach even more communities in need. Let’s work together to ensure every family has access to clean drinking water and a brighter future.
