Poverty remains one of the most pressing challenges facing the people of Afghanistan. More than four decades of conflict have severely damaged the country’s economy, education system, and social structure, leaving millions of families in extreme hardship. According to reports of the United Nations Development Programme, over 90% of the population lives below the poverty line, with widespread unemployment and economic instability affecting the majority of  households.In response, Mezan Charity Foundation (MCF) distributes Sadaqah and Zakat entrusted to us by our generous donors to verified and eligible families. We have established a transparent and systematic survey process through which vulnerable families are carefully assessed, documented, and categorized (Grade A, B, C, etc.) based on urgency and level of need.

Our Programs in This Section Include:

• Cash assistance to eligible families
• Distribution of food parcels
• Door-to-door delivery of food packages to vulnerable households
• Distribution of winter warmth packages
• Provision of hot meals
• Supply of baby milk for widows and vulnerable mothers
• Widow Sponsorship Program

Through these initiatives, we strive to uphold dignity while alleviating hardship in a transparent and accountable manner.
