Transforming Lives: 150 Pushcarts Distributed in Kabul

On 1403/2/26, the Mezan Charity Foundation, with generous funding from Al-Imdad Foundation, carried out a heartfelt initiative to support unemployed individuals in Kabul province by distributing pushcarts (karachis) to help them earn a livelihood. This impactful effort brought hope and opportunity to 150 young people struggling to find work and provide for their families.

As part of this initiative, 110 single-wheel pushcarts and 40 four-wheel pushcarts were distributed to unemployed youth. These tools will enable them to start small businesses, such as selling fruits, vegetables, or other goods, empowering them to earn a dignified and sustainable income.

The collaboration between Mezan Charity Foundation and Al-Imdad Foundation highlights the importance of partnerships in creating sustainable change. By equipping individuals with the means to work, the program not only addresses immediate unemployment but also promotes long-term economic stability within the community. Such initiatives demonstrate how small investments in tools and resources can transform lives and uplift entire families.

This distribution was made possible thanks to the shared commitment of both foundations and the continued support of generous donors who believe in empowering communities through practical solutions. Every karachi handed over represents a chance for a brighter future, where these individuals can contribute positively to their households and society.
