On 27/2/1403, Mezan Charity Foundation, with the generous support of Al-Imdaad Foundation, implemented a sustainable livelihood initiative by distributing dairy cows to 20 underprivileged families in Sharana, Paktika Province. This program primarily focused on widows and orphaned families, offering them a means to generate income and improve their living conditions.
The distribution was conducted in collaboration with the Department of Martyrs and Disabled Affairs in Paktika, ensuring that the aid reached the most deserving households. Each family received a dairy cow, enabling them to produce and sell milk locally, thereby creating a reliable source of income to meet daily needs.
This initiative aligns with our commitment to self-reliance programs, which aim to empower vulnerable communities by providing sustainable solutions rather than short-term relief. By helping these families establish a small-scale income-generating activity, we hope to enable them to achieve long-term stability and independence.Many of the beneficiaries are families who have endured significant hardships, including the loss of loved ones.
