Food and Cash Aid June 2025

The Food and Cash Aid Project (June 2025), a collaborative effort initiated by Withy Trees Welfare and Education (WTWE) and implemented by Mezan Charity Foundation, has successfully distributed 300 essential aid packages to vulnerable communities in Bamyan, Parwan, and Kabul. Each package includes 50 kg of flour and 5 liters of oil, crucial staples for families facing food insecurity. Notably, in Bamyan Province’s Yakawlang District, located 400 km from Kabul, local residents expressed immense gratitude upon receiving aid and voiced their eagerness to assist others in need, highlighting the project’s positive impact on community spirit.

Distribution was organized across three provinces: 150 packages in Parwan Province, 130 in Bamyan Province, and 70 in Kabul Province, reaching those most affected by hardship. This initiative not only aims to alleviate immediate hunger but also fosters a sense of solidarity within the community. A heartfelt thank you goes out to all donors and supporters who made this endeavor possible, reinforcing our shared commitment to uplift those in need.
