Empowering Youth Through Skills: Mobile Repair Program in Kabul

To tackle poverty and unemployment among youth, Mezan Charity Foundation, in partnership with the Imdad Foundation, launched a five-month mobile phone repair training program in Kabul. This practical initiative aimed to equip young individuals with valuable technical skills that can translate into sustainable income and self-employment opportunities.

A total of 27 young men participated in the program, each completing the course successfully. The training covered essential repair techniques and hands-on experience, ensuring participants are ready to enter the workforce or start their own businesses with confidence.

To support their next steps, all graduates received a full set of mobile repair tools along with cash assistance. In addition, visits were made to their workspaces to help encourage and monitor their progress as they move into the job market.

Mezan Charity Foundation is deeply proud of these young participants and thankful to the generous supporters who made this initiative possible. We remain committed to launching more skill-building programs that empower youth and foster a future filled with hope and opportunity.
